Winslow Township TV Production Program Honored with Three Awards this Fall!
Winslow Township TV Production Program or Studio 106 was recognized for 3 different honors this fall for some of our previous work. On October 10th Winslow Township was honored by the New Jersey School Public Relations Association and received the Award of Merit for the media coverage of the Award-winning Documentary "Piece By Piece" (2024). On October 17th the documentary entitled "My Joy Has Arrived" (2023), was honored and screened at the Garden State Film Festivals "World's Best Short Film Showcase" at the Scottish Rite theater in Collingswood N.J. Winslow Township screened alongside professional short films from throughout the country and was the only film showcased that was produced by students. The students were announced in front of the entire venue and given standing ovations for this impactful film. On October 22nd "My Joy Has Arrived" (2023), was also featured at the New Jersey School Board Association Convention's Student Film Showcase. Our students, as well as our Administration and School Board members, were honored for the tremendous work on the film and resources provided by the Winslow Township School District to the TV Production program. The following recent graduates that worked on the film were able to attend the event and were able to participate in a great podcast interview afterwards;
