Marching Band Accomplishments

WTHS Marching Band Accomplishments for Week of 9/14/19
On Saturday, the WTHS Marching Band competed at the Gateway Regional HS Competition. The Band 2nd Place and scored a 78.1 beating rival Pennsauken HS by 9 points in Group 2A. The Band also won their first Best Color Guard award of the season.
This year’s show is entitled Africa. We tell the story of our Family, the circle of strength founded on faith, joined in love, and kept by God. The Band performs This Land by Hans Zimmer and Africa by Robert W. Smith. The beginning Narration is read by Euginia Thompson. Musical and Visual soloists are Lilia Mandap, Dalyne Chea, Olivia Reinert, Niiua Clark, Alyssa Goldsboro, Naomi Ibidapo, Gene Embert, Jordan Jamieson, Honesty Wiggins, Bryanna Andrews and the WTHS Drum Line. Drum Majors are Dalyne Chea and Jay Thurman.



WTHS Marching Band Accomplishments for Week of 9/28/19
On Friday evening, the WTHS Marching Band performed at the 1st Annual Hall of Fame Football game at the Winslow Township HS Stadium. The Band played in support of the Varsity Football Team and also performed during the halftime celebration.
On Saturday, the WTHS Marching Band competed at the Egg Harbor Township HS Competition. The Band 2nd Place and scored an 81.5 in Group 2A. The Band also won their second Best Color Guard award of the season.
