Jasmine Jackson wins Brooks Pr Invitational 100m hurdle race
Congratulations to super sophomore Jasmine Jackson for an outstanding performance at the prestigious Brooks PR Invitational in Seattle, Washington! Competing against some of the nation's top high school athletes, Jasmine captured the 100-meter hurdles championship, making history as the first athlete from Winslow to earn an invitation to this elite event. In a thrilling race, Jasmine battled fellow sophomore Nia Armstrong stride for stride from the opening hurdle to the finish line, running with the same poise, determination, and competitiveness that have become her trademark. Rising to the occasion on one of the sport's biggest stages, Jasmine delivered a championship performance and proudly represented Winslow on the national level. Next week she will compete for the National Championship at New Balance Nationals.
