Congratulations to the Girls Track Team !
Congratulations to the Girls Track Team for a truly historic, record-breaking performance at the Penn Relays!
On Friday, the 4x100 relay team of Amariah Arango, Olivia Okaro, Cinniya Robinson, and Jasmine Jackson captured the Northeast Championship in a blazing, record-breaking time of 46.39—now the 9th fastest time in New Jersey state history.
The same quartet returned to the track to compete in the prestigious Championship of America 4x400, where they delivered another outstanding performance, running 3:41.17 to finish 5th overall. This marks the highest finish by a South Jersey school in 27 years. The ladies also earned the distinction of being the top public school 4x400 team at the Penn Relays.
To put their achievement into perspective, among 586 teams in the High School Girls Competition, they finished an incredible 5th overall—and their time would have placed 18th in the College Women’s division.
An unforgettable weekend showcasing excellence, determination, and pride.
