Congratulations to the WTHS Girls Indoor Track
Congratulations to the Girls Track Team for a great performance at the Hall of Fame meet on Saturday, January 20, 2024. Sophomore's Olivia Okaro and Ma'Syiah Brawner had a record-breaking weekend.
Olivia placed 3rd in smoking hot 55-meter dash running a career best time of 7.15 ranking her NJ#5 US#40 and US#8 amongst the Class of 2026. Olivia also placed 5th in the 300, running another career best time of 39.34 breaking the existing school record of 40.74 set in 2018 by Shakira Dancy, ranking her NJ#1, US #17 and US #3 in the Class of 2026.
Ma'Syiah won both the Long and Triple Jump. In the Long Jump Ma'Syiah jumped a career best of 19'3 ranking her NJ #1, US #9 and US #1 amongst the Class of 2026. In the Triple Jump, Ma'Syiah leaped an impressive 39'3 breaking her own indoor school record of 38'10.5". ranking her NJ #2, US #16 and US # 2 amongst the Class of 2026.
